      :   Reece Gladstone hit a purple patch in the year 2020 amassing 276 runs in 7 innings at an average of 46.0 with one record breaking hundred. He became the first batsman in the history of GCC to score 156 runs in a game hitting 13 towering sixes in the final for Manhattan Cup. “Man Full of Calm and Class”

      :   751 runs scored in the season with an average of 32.65, including four half centuries.

      :   300+ runs at a high average. Consistent performances at CCL as an opener.

      :   Highest run-getter for 2018, along with Matt Baden the second half of the most formidable opening partnership GCC has ever had

      :   Created a new club record, scoring 746 runs in the season

      :   Consistent throughout the season, an anomaly among GCC batsmen that year

  • Bowler of the year
    • 2020
      :   Milan Ganatra dominates the bowling records for the GCC this year by taking18 wickets with an economy 4.13 in 11 matches. Milan claimed the first five wickets haul for the club in 2020. He constantly contributed the team with its economical bowling and taking crucial wickets at key moment. “Man of consistency”
    • 2019
      :   Stellar season performance with a whopping 3 5-wicket hauls. Total tally of 37 wickets with an average of 8.3 and an economy of 4.36.
    • 2018
      :   31 wickets at an average of 15.68 and economy of 4.27; often would contain the flow of runs and pick up key CCL wickets
    • 2017
      :   Created a new club record, taking 48 wickets in the season
    • 2016
      :   His figures 7/19 vs. Phantoms remains the club record

      :   Consistent throughout the season
  • Cricketer of the year
    • 2020
      :   Abbas Khan is arguably the best cricketer for the club this year. He is well known for his lethal swing bowling and accuracy. The Islamabad born right-arm bowler bagged 30 wickets with an astonishing bowling average of 17.20. He also showed his batting prowess by scoring 135 runs including season best 52* runs for the club this season. He was our savior in crisis. "King of Swing"

      :   Pure all-round performance with 3 50s in 15 innings including 21 huge sixes. Includes 9 catches and viciously fast bowling yielding 29 wickets at an average of 13.3 and an economy of 3.8. His best figures were 4-8!
    • 2018
      :   31 Wickets and 358 runs, the first and only player to do the double of 300 runs and 30 wickets in a season
    • 2017
      :   Most runs, most catches, captained well and picked up some wickets. Dug the team out of trouble on multiple occasions
    • 2016
      :   All-round keeping and batting

      :   Crucial runs and wickets, and fielding.
  • Fielder of the year

      :   “Catches win Matches” Fielding is undoubtedly the most important aspect of cricket and requires utmost concentration and skills, be it any form of game. Nikhil Puri is our best fielder for this season with 13 catches and outstanding efforts all around. He was a constant source of support with his comments and inspiring words. “Dionaea muscipula”

      :   14 catches including a couple of screamers that even Jonty would be jealous of!

      :   10 catches and 2 stumpings in 12 games as keeper

      :   18 catches, a new club record.

  • Comedy of the year
    • 2020
      :   The Apoorva-snake prank. In one of our away league games in Jersey, we spotted a snake passing by the field. Apoorva eagerly came from short mid-off towards deep mid-wicket to watch him moving out of the field but he was pranked by Anees shouting it’s near you. Apoorva screamed loudly in fear and ran towards the pitch. It was one of the best hilarious in field moment for the year 2020.

      :   Was plucking flowers at fine leg when the ball came his way, was butter fingers in general throughout the year, and his comedy with Deep/Nikhil on the way to Philly, includes tales of a "staredown" he had with a bouncer, were fantastic.
    • 2016
      :   His advice to the seamer, Anshul, who was bowling a great spell, and then proceeded to bowl poorly, was caught on video!
    • 2015
      :   Reuben and Sid almost got into a fight with the opposition captain. He was angry his players were getting out, and took it out on Reub/Sid who were sledging him. Required Aoun "Puff Daddy's" intervention to calm down.
  • Newcomer of the Year
    • 2020
      :   It’s always difficult to adapt to the new playing conditions and environment. There are few who can do it with utmost brilliance. Anees Ahmed is our Newcomer of the year 2020. He constantly impressed us with his all-round game. He took 25 wickets with a bowling economy of 3.67 and scored 148 runs this season. His match winning spell claiming 5-31 in the intraclub match remains the highlights for the season and indicative of what to expect from him. “The Rising Star”

      :   Over 300 runs and 2 50s in his first 22 innings for the club, at an average of 30. Also took 24 wickets and consistently bowled a solid opening spell for the team. A lot to be said about the jovial spirit he brought to GCC as well!
